Judge strikes down Prop. 8, allows gay marriage in California [Updated] | L.A. NOW | Los Angeles Times
latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2010/08/prop8-gay-m....html
“This ruling marks a victory for loving, committed couples who want nothing more than the same rights and security as other families,” added Rea Carey, executive director of the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force, minutes after Walker’s ruling was released. “From the start, this has been about basic fairness.” http://chum.ly/n/2625e6

Interns make coffee, not social media strategy
socialmediatoday.com/richardmeyer/156148/interns-m...ts%29
At first, this post put a bad taste in my mouth because it seams to belittle the abilities of interns. Right now there are a lot of very intelligent and capable individuals who are working as interns. However, after reading further, the point is not to deduct from their intelligence, but to show companies that social media is not a menial task for marketing departments to push down the chain of command. Social media will be most beneficial to a company when it is understood and carefully integrated into the marketing strategy. http://chum.ly/n/25c796
